code of conduct

by connecting to and playing on our servers, we assume that you have agreed to this document. violating this code may make you subject to different punishments depending on what was violated.

  1. be respectful.

    no harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, personal attacks, or any kind of bigotry. treat everyone fairly, or how you want to be treated.

  2. don't include NSFW/18+ or hateful content in your profile picture or spray.

    sprays are a game mechanic in Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod that allows players to display any image onto a surface. we kindly ask not to include any porn or hateful content in your sprays or profile pictures. this includes cropped content.

  3. no cheating, exploiting, or otherwise have an unfair advantage against others.
  4. no spamming.

    this includes flooding text chat or being incredibly annoying in voice chat. we allow players to play music or to use a soundboard in voice chat, but please accept any requests from other people wherever reasonable, including toning it down or stopping what you're doing.

  5. no advertising or self-promotion.
  6. use common sense.

    if what you're doing or about to do feels like it may ruin the game for others, don't do it.

  7. have fun!

    what we're hosting are games. thus, the people playing simply want to keep things enjoyable for everyone. don't ruin it.

reporting rule breakers

if you'd like to report someone who broke the code of conduct, either email them to us or open a discussion on our Steam group. please include context, screenshots and videos of the rule breaker wherever possible, as we cannot punish violaters without reasonable proof.

if you're not sure where to upload screenshots or videos, you have options! use any of the following: YouTube (we prefer it if videos are set to Unlisted), Catbox, or Litterbox (make sure to set the expiration time to 3 days).

punishments

for each rule described above, there may be an entry in the list below. their number corresponds to the rule. for example, the first entry here refers to the "be respectful" rule. the second entry refers to the profile picture or spray rule, and so on. this is a list of punishments for those who have violated the code of conduct.

  1. if disrepectful behaviour is minor, then only a warn will be issued. players who have a history with this kind of minor behaviour will be given, at most, a 24-hour ban. players who go beyond just petty behaviour will be given the following punishments in increasing severity for repeat violations: 24-hour ban, 48-hour ban, 1-week ban, 1-month ban, and a permanent ban.
  2. if it's just porn (lol), then an 8-hour ban will be issued, with maximum sentences going to 24-hour bans. however, if it's hateful content, then it's a 24-hour ban. we expect users with hateful sprays and/or profile pictures to change them before joining again. to those who havent however, they'll be sentenced to a 1-week ban.
  3. 1-month ban. if this rule is violated again, then it is extended to a permanent ban.
  4. just a warn. players who have a history with spamming will be given, at most, a 24-hour ban.
  5. refer to #4.
